Product consistency

Consistency and accuracy are critical when it comes to geotechnical data. Our sensors are manufactured under the internationally recognised ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring they meet strict tolerances and performance standards.

Every sensor is calibrated using an externally certified process with full traceability, giving engineers confidence in the data they rely on. Our manufacturing processes are designed to produce sensors that are not only accurate but also highly repeatable — ensuring reliable data for complex decision-making.

Capacity and lead time accuracy

Global infrastructure projects work to tight deadlines and we have designed agile processes to meet the timeframes our clients need to deliver their projects.

We utilise LEAN and JIT manufacturing processes to allow us to react to customer requirements while ensuring process efficiency & consistency. This allows us to deliver to some of the largest infrastructure projects globally while maintaining support for projects of all sizes.

Our supply chain and purpose-built ECO facility, based near Cambridge, UK, is designed to scale according to project requirements. We have a good stock of core products allowing us to meet tight deadlines.

We also have an open dialogue between demand and production planning to provide clear lead times, allowing you to manage your implementation effectively.

Integrated end-to-end production process

Our integrated end-to-end production process covers a wide range of techniques including:

  • Proprietary GeoSwage vibrating wire production method
  • Automated calibration system across all products
  • CNC Machining and Welding
  • High-precision mechanical and electrical assembly performed by our technicians
  • Digitised calibration data is automatically updated to the cloud daily with our Geosense Connect service

Our mission is to have as small an impact on the world as possible, so we have integrated sustainability practices into our manufacturing process and facility installation.

Our site uses low-power lighting on automatic timers, ground-source geothermal climate control, and solar panels on the roof.
