Measure the twist. Trust the data
Within a vertical inclinometer installation, the casing grooves can experience a degree of spiral (twist) along their length. This twist may be caused by manufacturing tolerances in the casing or introduced during the installation process.
It is particularly important to understand the magnitude of this effect in deep installations (>50 m), where small amounts of twist can accumulate and have a greater impact on measurement accuracy.
Key Features
- Compatible with all Geosense portable inclinometer systems (same cable, reel and readout). A single survey is required, eliminating the need for a second 180° reading.
- High-accuracy magnetometer sensor for precise rotational measurements
- 500 mm gauge length for accurate compensation
- Suitable for 70 mm and 85 mm casing
- IP68 rated with 360° EMI protection
- Inclopro app integration for spiral measurement visualisation
Key Applications
- Deep borehole installations
- Pile monitoring
- Diaphragm walls
- Slope stability
