Meet Joe Jackson: Driving Growth Across North America
Since joining Geosense earlier this year, Joe Jackson has become an integral part of the Geosense team in his role as Sales and Business Development Manager for North America.
As we continue to strengthen our presence across the region, Joe has been focused on supporting our customers, developing new relationships and identifying opportunities in key sectors.
Supporting Growth Across North America
North America represents a significant market for Geosense, with increasing investment in infrastructure and asset monitoring. As projects become more complex and the need for reliable instrumentation continues to grow, having a dedicated presence in the region is more important than ever.
Joe joins Geosense with a wealth of international experience, having worked across the UK, the United States and Canada throughout his career.
“I’m an engineer by trade,” says Joe. “With a background in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, extensive experience in vibration monitoring, and a professional history in aerospace before moving into the instrumentation business, solving difficult problems alongside customers is why I do what I do.”
His combination of technical expertise and customer-focused problem-solving makes him an excellent fit for Geosense and the markets we serve.
Why Geosense?
Geosense’s commitment to innovation and customer success is what first attracted Joe to the role.
“I was looking for a growing company with great products that was staying true to its values – a company that puts its customers and innovation first. Geosense certainly does that, and I’m very excited to be working with such a talented team.”
Building Relationships and New Opportunities
In his role, Joe will focus on supporting existing customers while identifying new opportunities throughout North America.
“I spend my time looking after current customers and exploring new opportunities in equal measure,” he explains. “We have superb customers in North America, and I want to make sure we keep supporting them as they need, while understanding how Geosense can work best with our customers on new, exciting projects.”
His appointment reinforces Geosense’s commitment to providing local support and building long-term partnerships throughout the region.
Looking Ahead
Joe highlights the significant opportunities emerging across North America, driven by continued investment in critical infrastructure, asset management and resource sectors.
“I think an ever-changing world, mixed with some ageing infrastructure, makes for a very interesting market. There’s lots happening in the dam space, as well as infrastructure, both new and old, and mineral extraction.”
For Joe, these markets offer the opportunity to work closely with customers on projects that address complex engineering and environmental challenges, while helping organisations better understand and manage the assets they rely on.
A Global Future
As Geosense continues to grow internationally, Joe is excited by the opportunities ahead.
“The opportunity to meet new people tackling problems we haven’t seen before is what excites me most.”
His enthusiasm for collaboration and innovation reflects the mindset that has helped Geosense establish strong partnerships around the world.
And outside of work? Joe enjoys exploring new places, meeting new people and spending time in the wilderness – qualities that will undoubtedly serve him well as he travels across North America connecting with customers and industry partners.
