Geosense joins Indutrade AB

It is with great excitement that we can announce that Geosense Limited has joined the Indutrade AB group.

Indutrade’s decentralised model gives Geosense the freedom to continue down its own path, while providing the support and stability to maximise its success for years to come. Indutrade empower their companies to make decisions at a local level and ensures they maintain operational responsibility and most importantly their name, culture and management.

Managing director Tim Clegg said: “Our industry has seen a number of different acquisition methods with a varying levels of success. Our two main priorities at Geosense have always been to our staff and our customers. Indutrade offers us everything we need, to give Geosense and its staff a great home, with the autonomy to build on our successes and continue providing best in class customer experience. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far, but even more excited for what the future holds”.

Founders Martin Clegg and Tony Osborne will continue on in advisory roles. While Tim Clegg will continue to steer the business alongside directors John Fordham and Chris Morrison. Geosense operations will remain unchanged, and we look forward to continuing the great work we do with both customers and partners.

Martin Clegg reflected “I remember the day we decided to start making vibrating wire sensors. We always had big plans, but seeing the business as it is today makes all the hard work worthwhile. Indutrade share all of the same values that we do, but also that we believe have made Geosense a success.”

Tony Osborne added “Martin and I have worked together for over 45 years. We sat at a table 11 years ago to sign the incorporation documents for Geosense, and today we sat together to sign the documents that put Geosense into safe hands for the future.”

We want to finish off by saying thankyou to all of our staff, customers, supplier, partners and everyone else who has contributed to making Geosense the success it is today, and we are incredibly excited for the future.
